In this essay, I will compare people that are obsessed with physical appearance and appearances. It is not strange for individuals to worry about physical appearance. In fact, we could argue that we are living in a culture that weighs the most up-to-date trends or newest fashions more heavily than more pressing issues that affects society. As a result, many people become obsessed with their physical appearance in order to keep up with trends and fashions. People pay too much attention to appearance, it is important in some situations and the general population seems to put more of their focus on how good someone looks or what the newest trends are, instead of concentrating on greater issues at hand, which are often not discussed.â⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦Those who compulsively exercise often work out to achieve a brief sense of power and self-control. Some over-exercisers are also anorexic, and deal with their emotions and anxiety through excessive exercise in addition to their eating disorder. Appearances can be misleading but the problem is that most people still believe what they see. Every time you see someone with a nice watch, diamond rings, or shoes, most of the time, your first reaction is to think that they are well off and then you are curious to find out more about them.
